Victorian Black Enamel and Pearl Mourning Ring

This sweet Victorian ring was lovingly hand crafted in England in the 1800’s. These mourning rings were worn as a memorial and a sign for a loved one who crossed over to the other side. This ring is full of deep sentiment as the combination of the black enamel and white seed pearls represents the death and rebirth of new life. Designed with black enamel and 7 seed pearls, she is in very good antique condition. The lovely enamel scroll work winds it’s way alongside the shank giving this ring special attention to detail. Crafted in 18kt gold, she has full British hallmarks from Birmingham, England for 1870. The ring is currently a US Size 7.25 and sizable with care to preserve the hallmarks. Weighs 2.9 grams.
