Antique Emerald-Cut Amethyst Ring

This is a lovely antique emerald-cut amethyst ring from the late Victorian era or Edwardian period. The ring features a light violet stone which measures 10.2x8.3mm and is in very good condition with very a couple of flea bites but only noticeable under magnification. The ring appears to not have much wear. The stone is held in place with four prongs which are also in excellent condition.. Crafted in 10kt gold with basket mounting that has a very delicate wave pattern around the basket. The shank is wider at the shoulders then narrows and has a unique dental work pattern on the edges.
