1952 Blue Spinel in 18kt Gold

This sweet ring features a gorgeous sky blue spinel with a unique east-west setting. She was made in 1952 in Boras, Sweden. The stone is held in place by 2 side prongs and has delightful carved shoulders . The hallmarks are crisp and clear with very little wear with an inscription which reads, "Inger 2.9.1952".

Currently a US Size 6.5 and sizable with care to preserve the hallmarks and inscription. In overall good vintage condition. The spinel measures 10x8mm and comes 5.5mm off the finger including the setting. Shank width is 1.7mm.
