1867 Garnet and Seed Pearl Ring
This is another stunning example of fine Victorian artistry and will definitely be the ring most coveted in your personal collection. The star of the show is an antique cushion cut garnet with natural seed pearls on either side. The scroll work on the gallery gives this ring that unique Victorian look. As if all these elements were not enough, the shank is engraved with a most gorgeous engraving around the entire shank.
The ring is in great condition considering its age. Crafted in 15kt yellow gold with full British hallmarks from Birmingham with a gold mark 15 and 625 and a date letter 'S' for 1867. There is a marker's mark which is worn but appears to read B.H. It appears that one pearl has been replaced at one point and an appearance of a previous sizing on one side of the shank. Currently a US Size 6.25 and not sizable so as to not interrupt the beautiful engraving around the shank.
